In 2023, Fujita Health University (FHU) has celebrated its 55th anniversary. Under the founding principle of “Our Creativity for the People.”, we have established FUJITA VISION 2030, with a new slogan “Becoming Fujita Academy as the first responder,” tackling many social issues such as large-scale disasters and emerging infectious disease pandemics.
The History of Fujita Academy
Fujita Academy—was established with the guiding principle of “Our Creativity for the People.” From its inception, the academy aimed to foster a new generation of medical professionals who combine technical excellence with compassion and ethical responsibility. Over the decades, the university has expanded significantly, developing state-of-the-art facilities, four affiliated hospitals, and an academic culture rooted in innovation, resilience, and global collaboration.
School Philosophy
The University’s founding philosophy is “DOKUSOUICHIRI.”
It is an enduring philosophy that constitutes the fundamental, universal concept of the university.
“DOKUSOUICHIRI” reflects our belief that, as with the university’s alumni and alumnae, the present students also unlock their future by leveraging their creativity.
